How to come to the island of Vis.

  

AGENCY JADROLINIJA

The only way (except by your own boat) to arrive to the island is by a ferry-boat or by hydrofoils of the Maritime Agency JADROLINIJA  from Split. If you come from Split and have a car, you must use the Jadrolinija ferry-boats.

The voyage by a ferry-boat from Split lasts for two hours. It isn't possible to make a ticket reservation for the ferry in advance, it is bought in the agencies of Jadrolinija before departure.As the time-table of the ferry-boats varies several times in different periods during the season, we advise you to check the time-table on time.

If you come without a car, you may use a hydrofoil of JADROLINIJA Maritime Company.

The price for the hydrofoil is

SPLIT –VIS = 5,30 EUR ( 40,00 kuna)

VIS-SPLIT = 5,30 EUR ( 40,00 kuna)

SPLIT – HVAR = 4,70 EUR (35,00 kuna)

VIS-HVAR = 4,00 EUR (30,00 kuna

 

The voyage by hydrofoil lasts for one hour and fifteen minutes. The tickets are bought at Jadrolinija agency in Vis or at a kiosk in front of the hydrofoil if you depart from Split.
