Here you can see the current time-table for all the bus lines
on the island. The schedule is due to change according to the
seasons, depending on the change of ferry-boat connections
between Split and Vis. During the high season, the number of
ferry-boat connections is increased and so is the number of
the bus lines. Each time you come to the town of Vis by a
ferry-boat (the main port on the island), there is a bus to
and from the town of Komiža, 10 km distant from the town of
Vis. The ride takes fifteen minutes on a modern asphalted
road. There is a bus stop at the ferry pier right in front of
the wharf where the ferry-boat docks. Tickets are bought on
the bus and are valid for one trip. The price is
20 kunas.
For those who stay in Komiža, there is a timely bus connection
to reach the ferry-boat for Split and the schedule is
displayed at the bus stop in Komiža and on the bus windshield.
